My horse has been on this supplement for 3 months for his sarcoid. So far, it has not affected the sarcoid at all. Sadly I have not seen this product helping at all
Earlier photos of this sarcoid show predominantly pink tissue with very little yellow coloration. Pink tissue can be associated with healthy blood flow to the area. In this image, the yellow/tan appearance may be consistent with tissue that is becoming devitalized or necrotic, meaning tissue that has lost or is losing its blood supply, which can be part of the intended process with the product.
This is also a good example of why communication with your veterinarian is so valuable. In a wound or ulcerated tumor, devitalized tissue and wound material can take on a range of colors, including yellow, tan, gray, brown, or black, and may appear moist, rubbery, stringy, or firmly attached.
A yellow or tan moist layer is sometimes described as “slough” or fibrinous exudate. Slough can contain a mixture of dead tissue, fibrin, inflammatory cells, proteins, and other debris. These materials can collect on the surface of an injured area, while necrotic tissue refers to the injured tissue itself. The two often occur together, which makes them very difficult to distinguish visually, particularly from a photograph alone.
In this case, there is another factor to consider: eliminating a sarcoid while the area is simultaneously receiving blood and plasma following surgical intervention may look different from the usual progression. It would be interesting and helpful to know whether this appearance is typical following this type of procedure, or whether we may be seeing the product’s effects alongside the increased blood supply associated with the surgical intervention.

I got my mustang with this huge summer sore and immediately started him on the spirulina chia seeds to help him heal from the inside out. This product, on top of wrapping the sore, has made a huge difference. I see the results each day on how quickly it’s healing and has exceeded all my expectations with only a few weeks. It’s still in the process of healing but has made tremendous progress. What an amazing product!

I adopted a horse that had the worst case of rain rot I've ever seen! Over 50 plus sores on each side of her back. I used a product to dry it up but it nevr fully went away and then it started showing up in places she had not had it before. I found stble feed chia and spirulina immun support. i have been using the Spirulina Chia for about 2 months on my AQHA performance horse. In the past he would often cough when being ridden and experience bug sensitivity covered in small welts. He is doing really well on this product and about 90-95% of the issues above are gone. Very satisfied!

My mini gelding, Cato, always has itchy, flaky skin during the summer as we live in Florida and it’s extremely hot/humid. I started him on the supplement a few months ago, and I have noticed significant improvement with his skin, especially with the fact that he doesn’t have these flaky irritated patches all over, which he normally would! This is super easy to give, although I wish it was a biscuit as that is easier (husband proof) but understand that horses may not like to eat it due to the smell. Will keep this on auto ship. I’m very happy with all of the products from this brand and will continue to purchase.

I research thoroughly and was very excited to get my 14 yr old show jumper an immune booster! The woman at the feed store had said her clients had great results and were rebuying their boxes. I was extremely optimistic I found a solution to my problem. Well on the second day, I noticed that my horse was in anaphylactic shock right after she had eaten her breakfast. She was heaving and her respirations were very high. Extremely lethargic. (No fever and was drinking and using the bathroom well) We were slowly introducing the supplement and I guess it didn’t agree with her. Luckily, cause we were diligent with how we’re introduced the supplement and did it slowly, I was able to curb the allergic reactions. By the evening she was back to herself! So like any new supplement, make sure you introduce it slowly and observe the horses. It was not the right choice for my horse.(I will be donating my bag to the animal shelter since it is non refundable.)

I just started my 26 year old gelding on the chia/spirulina loose mix. His rain rot cleared up within a week, all the hair grew back within two weeks and he’s got dapples for the first time ever! His summer coat has come in gorgeous! He has had some insect bites with some swelling right after but I noticed the swelling was gone the next day.

This product is amazing and I highly recommend it. My heart horse, Cowboy, suffered from year round allergies. He had watery eyes, was constantly itchy and would rub parts of his mane out. I've had him for three years and despite using hydroxyzine for allergies, he has always had a dry itchy mane. We are on our fourth bag of the product and he has so much new mane growth that I'm blown away. His skin is not dry, he is not itchy and he have received far better allergy relief from the Spirulina-Immune support than from medications. I haven't had to use hydroxyzine once since we started the product. He had mild arthritis when I got him and this product also has him moving so much better too. I use it with the Sainfoin pellets as a carrier and he licks his feed bucket clean. I will be putting my other 2 horses on the product too to deal with the spring/summer allergies. Cowboy's coat looks amazing too. My other horses get a flax based supplement but we will be putting them on this product too because while their coats are great, Cowboy's is superior. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

I never write reviews but this product was well worth it. My horse about 5 months ago got a sarcroid on his ear. I asked two different vets and one suggested chemo injection and the other freezing it off. Both I was told were painful and that should be done when I wasn't riding as much. I did a Google search to find this product. I honestly didn't think it would work but tried it anyway. The sarcroid fell off within 3 months of feeding this product. To my amazement! The hair also grew back! My horse also has fly allergies which it also helped too!

This product is amazing. I have an older horse that gets hives easily and since we started using this product she has not had any more hives. I love this product so much that all my horses are on it. They all enjoy it and often times will eat it before eating the rest of their feed.

I started using this to see if it would help with my OTTBs allergies and it not only did that but also helps with the runny nose he gets in winter and his coat is so much healthier. Also, My horse loves the loose and biscuits and he’s a picky eater.

My horse adores these as a treat or in his food - we prefer biscuit form since he is not a huge fan of loose "stuff" in his feed bin. I love feeding him stuff that I know is good tasting AND good for him! An essential part of our forage based feed regime! :) Really helped with a recent case of rain rot and hives triggered by allergies.
