Prickly Pear Chia - Glucose Support

Buzz LOVES his chia biscuits! The chia and prickly pear combo really works well for him. This is the best he’s looked in years!

I have a 30-year old appendix-bred quarter horse with Cushings. I noticed a positive change in his attitude the very next day after giving him this supplement. You could tell that he definitely felt better. He is also eating much better. I have to give this supplement a "thumbs'up". I will say I didn't anticipate shipping to take a week, so plan accordingly when ordering.

My Hafling Horse, his name is Motion, has been on the Prickly Pear Chia for years, 1 scoop in the AM and 1 scoop in the PM. He is doing really well. I feel like this is a double great supplement, the chia is good for him and the prickly pear is good for his IR.

There are many things I have changed with my horse's diet after a
laminitis issue over a year ago. He he doing great now and one of the things I added to his diet was Prickly Pear Chia. I feel that this supplement has helped in Niko's recovery. I will continue to add this supplement to his meals so his diet will continue to be balanced.

I have an ‘easy keeper’ and with the chia seeds, bio pellets along with riding more her fatty pads have significantly decreased!

My Mini mare, Tootsie, absolutely loves the prickly pear biscuit! She has been doing extremely well after starting on the supplement, it’s so easy to give as well, which makes it invaluable. Literally cannot be without this!! prior my mini was lame from time to time due to her laminitis flaring up since starting on the supplement she has not had a flareup since. We keep on autoship!

There’s a lot of supplements I’d be willing to cut from my horses feed—but not this one or any from StableFeed. I think the glucose support (Prickly Pear) and the Spirulina Chia seeds are a necessary component for healthy horses. I look forward to trying the Sanfoin pellets some time, they seem a smart addition instead of regular hay pellets.

My overall experience is excellent. My horse loves the biscuits, and he is doing quite well. Dr. Getty suggested 4 biscuits a day for my horse. He weighs about 1300 pounds which probably explains why he is on that many. Also, his insulin levels were quite high when we started, he had a lot of inflammation and was moving about slowly and reluctantly. Honestly, I put him on several different supplements to try to help him as much as possible. I cannot credit the chia biscuits with all of his resurgence to greater comfort, but I do feel that they have helped him, and he does love to eat them. I like it that he is getting the benefits of the fats in the chia seeds as well as the metabolic support from the prickly pear.

The prickly pear chia supplement has literally saved my 30 year old welsh pony's life. The last two years we have struggled with managing my pony's laminitis flare ups. Having horses with metabolic issues, this product has been working wonders. We board a 26 year old Rocky Mountain that struggles with her Pituitary and this has helped her to be able to go safely on pasture.
