Loose or Biscuit?
If you're debating, we generally recommend the loose form over the biscuit for texture, ease of storage and feeding to picky eaters, that being said our biscuit has a pill dimple that can be quite handy! You cannot go wrong with either!

My 26 year old thoroughbred gelding has fecal water syndrome. After a month of one and a half scoops of papaya chia, his backside is dry and clean. Nothing else I've tried has worked.Thanks for a great product Stable feed!
By day 7 there appeared to be some improvement in the consistency of my FEI dressage horse’s manure, with three biscuits per day. I ordered a couple more boxes to give the product an extended trial.
Frankly, I was doubtful this product would work as it seemed too simple too easy. I typically give a dietary change 30 days before I determine its efficacy. In less than 10 days, my mare’s fecal balls are back to normal. I’m impressed.

As a human who tries to put unprocessed high quality food into my body I want to do the same for my horses. Upon my most recent thoroughbred’s arrival it was clear he had anxiety, stress & ulcers and after veterinary treatment I didn’t want to just throw another gut supplement with ingredients I didn’t understand at him. In comes finding StableFeed’s products! I was nervous at first as he is a VERY picky eater, but he gobbles down the chia in his food no problems :) I do feel it has helped his gut overall stay happier, helped w gaining weight and reduced his cribbing some.
Absolutely love this product! My horse never showed any signs of ulcers/gastric discomfort but as we started to do more showing, traveling, and intense training, I wanted something to help keep him happy and healthy. Very shortly after starting the chia I noticed he ate much more hay on trailer rides. His coat also got so shiny and even during the winter stays shiny. We do some much traveling and this product puts my mind at ease knowing it’s keeping him healthy, happy, and performing his best! He licks his feed tub clean and doesn’t leave a seed behind. Cannot recommend it enough and have told clients and friends about Stable Feed.
I have an extremely picky senior horse that refuses to eat any supplement, including plain loose chia or flax. He also refuses to eat wet feed, so any loose powdery supplements end up at the bottom of the bucket uneaten. He loves these biscuits in all flavors despite his bad/missing teeth. I'm so glad I'm able to give him his Omega-3's in such a tasty healthy treat.

I first ordered the Papaya Chia blend in February of 2021 following a barn move. Within the first week, my OTTB Wes had started to calm down in the cross ties and under saddle, and reduced his cribbing to nearly nothing! After another barn move, Wes only cribbed on the first day and then stopped completely. I was able to leave him without a collar or have Cribox slathered onto surfaces for the first time in 2.5 years. I re-ordered in July as he had started cribbing again with weather and paddock changes, and he's once again stopped unless he's kept in his stall too long. Additionally, he's started to dapple out, his gut seems happier, he's shinier, and his overall condition has improved! Absolutely LOVE this product and recommend it to everyone!
Both my upper level event horses have benefitted from the addition of papaya chia to their diets! This product keeps their gut happier while travelling, training, and competing! Their coat and hoof quality has also changed for the better!
With my boy having history of gastric ulcers I am always searching for new healthy products to help his digestion. Sunny is on his 3rd bag of the Papaya/ Chia mixture and he’s also had the Lavender/ Chia mixture.... he eats it right up! I will continue to purchase this and other Chia products here. Great, healthy products!
I have my 9 YO Thoroughbred gelding on this supplement to aid in digestion. I use it for his digestive health and have noticed improvement in his attitude, which I attribute to the lessening of gut stress. I have also found that simply having him on one of the chia supplements for a period of time has improved his coat, skin, etc. I love these products and can't recommend them enough!
I have struggled for a while to help my mare feel her best. After several trial and error experiments we found that she cannot have grains or molasses - the basis of most horse feeds - if given, she develops serious gut issues. So we brought everything back to basics: protein, fat, vitamins and minerals. Adding Pure Form Chia to her diet fits right into that formula. She loves them and looks and feels amazing. Thanks to Mary’s heart and soul, she’s created a product that I feel more than comfortable and happy feeding to my Unicorn.
