DIRECTIONS FOR USE
  • StableFeed™ Fundamentals may be fed alone or combined with the Seasons Biome Blend functional equine supplements to naturally support the entire horse throughout each season.
  • Feeding amounts should be adjusted based on the horse’s breed, age, body condition, and workload to maintain optimal health and performance.
  • Provide with clean, good-quality hay at the rate of 1.5-2% of the horse’s body weight per day or pasture equivalent. 
  • Provide fresh and clean water at all times. Add water to avoid choke.
  • Store horse feed in a clean, dry place avoiding high heat and humidity.

IS FUNDAMENTALS A COMPLETE FEED OR A RATION BALANCER?

Fundamentals is a forage-based complete feed that also functions as a ration balancer. When fed at the recommended rate, it provides balanced nutrition, including highly bioavailable vitamins, minerals, amino acids, and foundational herbal support. There is no need to add a separate ration balancer or hoof supplement.

 

DO I STILL NEED TO FEED HAY?

Absolutely. Fundamentals is designed to complement a forage-based diet, not replace it. Horses should always have access to appropriate forage, such as hay or pasture, with Fundamentals providing the concentrated nutrition needed to balance that forage.

We recommend adding water to any pelleted feed to help reduce the risk of choke. Fundamentals softens quickly because it contains no unnecessary binding agents, so it only takes a few minutes to become a soft mash.

 

WHAT IS THE SHELF LIFE?

Fundamentals has a shelf life of approximately 6 months. Because we do not use artificial preservatives and manufacture in small batches, we recommend purchasing no more than about three months' worth during warmer months to ensure maximum freshness.

 

CAN I FEED FUNDAMENTALS WITHOUT THE SEASONS BIOME BLENDS™?
