Product Description
Learn about your horse’s unique gut bacteria with our simple and compact sampling kit. Receive a comprehensive microbiome report straight to your inbox. Powered by the most comprehensive DNA sequencing technology and innovative scientific research available, the HorseyBiome™ Gut Microbiome Test can detect thousands of bacteria from your horse’s poop.
How it works
Your test kit includes all of the supplies needed to collect a sample of fresh manure and return it back to our laboratory, including detailed instructions and a pre-addressed return mailer (prepaid within the US only).
Once you have registered your horse’s sample ID and we have received your horse’s sample, we will process it with our state-of-the-art DNA sequencing technology. The data will then be analyzed through our comprehensive and proprietary pipeline to identify the bacteria in the sample.
We will prepare a customized report to explain your horse’s results and send it straight to your inbox within 2-3 weeks. The report clearly summarizes what bacteria we found in your horse’s sample and shows whether potential harmful pathogens were detected.
