A note to our valued customers, from StableFeed:
The spread of COVID-19 and its effect on the world is unprecedented in our lifetime. I hope you, your families, and your loved ones are staying well in this trying time.
Officials have asked us all for our help in slowing the spread of infectious disease. While the disruption to our normal routines presents peculiar challenges, it is important that we all do our part in adopting a team mentality and complying to the best of our abilities. This will protect us, our families, our neighbors, necessary service personnel delivering goods, and those individuals on the front lines in our health care facilities.
I have taken steps to protect the health of my employees, myself and our families by asking my staff to remain home until the CDC lifts the voluntary quarantine. We will continue production at a limited capacity, prioritizing those customers and horses who have the most urgent needs.
The Department of Homeland Security, in cooperation with the FDA, released guidance for agricultural/pet feed sector businesses today, deeming us to be part of “critical workforce infrastructure”. As such, they are asking that we remain open for business during these challenging times. I am able to produce products and will continue to do so on my own, but this may result in delays in receiving your shipment if I become unable to immediately meet the demand. I apologize in advance and thank you for your patience.
On a personal note, I am asking that each and every one of you:
- Be responsible and take precautions
- Be conscientious
- Be considerate of others
- Be kind
- Don’t panic
We can do this. We will get through this. Together. Take care, be safe and I’ll talk to you soon.
